Theorist and contemporary art curator. She graduated in art history and theory from the Faculty of Arts at Trnava University (2004 – 2009), studying with Professor Zora Rusinová, and was awarded a Ph.D. in 2012 (dissertation: Existential Body Limits). Since 2012 she has worked in the Slovak National Gallery as a curator of the Modern and Contemporary Art Collection. Alexandra Tamásová is concerned with contemporary art and Outsider art. She curates exhibitions, presents lectures, and her articles and reviews are published in various Slovak journals.
